Uruchomiony w maju 2019 r. projekt E-SHAPE to pierwsza tego typu inicjatywa łącząca zasoby zgromadzone podczas kilkudziesięciu lat prowadzenia obserwacji Ziemi w ramach programów finansowanych ze środków publicznych oraz możliwości szybko rozwijającej się technologii usług w chmurze. Takie połączenie pozwoli zwiększyć potencjał Europy w zakresie jej wkładu w rozwój Globalnej Sieci Systemów Obserwacji Ziemi.

Lancée en mai 2019, E-SHAPE est une initiative phare inédite qui regroupe des décennies d’investissement public dans l’observation de l’environnement ainsi que dans les capacités du nuage qui évoluent rapidement et amélioreront considérablement la contribution de l’Europe au Réseau mondial des systèmes d’observation de la Terre.

E-SHAPE, lanzada en mayo de 2019, es una iniciativa emblemática sin precedentes que aglutina décadas de inversión pública en observación medioambiental, así como posibilidades de rápido desarrollo en la nube que impulsarán significativamente la contribución europea a la Red Mundial de Sistemas de Observación de la Tierra.
